Best Italian restaurant in Broome County, no contest. I know there are those that prefer Cortese or Little Venice, but the meals prepared at Oaks Inn show skills not displayed at the others. They are old school with specific days open and hours. No online presence and serving a dedicated and loyal customer base, get a reservation and try.

We return to Endicott several times a year to see family. One of our favorite restaurants for Italian food is Oaks Inn. Yes reservations are usually needed as always busy. Six of us had great meals. Nothing was lacking in quality or portion. green salads, chicken Parm, Meatballs, Lasagna, Gnocchis, lemon chicken, shrimp appetizer and pasta fagioli. Did I mention the generous mixed drink pours. Omg and the prices so reasonable. We had the pleasure of having Lea as our server. They were short staffed but you would not know- she was so attentive, friendly and accommodating ( A+ employee) It was a great evening and we are returning in two days.

Was visiting Binghamton with the hubby this week and we had dinner at oaks inn. We followed previous reviews and was sure to make a reservation. They were busy, so glad we did. I loved my meal with the vodka sauce. It was good in the restaurant and my leftovers the next day tasted even better. The Marsala chicken was just okay per my husband. The clams casino was great. I could taste all the flavors. The greens were good too, you get a large portion and they were filling. I will say it did take a while for our food to come out but I think it's because things are made to order and fresh. I would definitely go back. The waiter was nice and made good suggestions as well.

All of the staff, hosts and servers are always so kind. I've been here a few times every time I come in to town and it never disappoints. The shrimp scampi is a must-have. It is delicious. This time I got the chicken marsala and it was great. I love that there was bell peppers in the dish I had never had it like that before. The drinks are always good and the prices are even better. What a reasonable priced spot for such amazing Italian food. I've never had anything bad here and I will continue to go every time I'm in town. I do wish the lighting was a little different / dimmer or they did something more to add to the ambience but it's a Classic spot that can't be changed and that's okay too!!

We now live in Texas. We come back to upstate NY every year to enjoy the scenery and great people and food. Our #1 eatery is the Oaks Inn! Over 30 years of going there once a year. It's always the same quality and the best food ever. Chicken Chablis or Saltimbocca! Amazing!! Top it off with some delicious Italian deserts! The place is amazing. Must have reservations or eat at the bar.

Always fabulous. Staff and food are outstanding, never a bad bite. It's all good always!

Excellent Italian food. Some of the best the area has to offer. Everything on the menu our party tried came out delicious in-spite of a full house.

I was in town for a few days and this place was recommended to me by a close friend who I trust greatly with food recommendations and she did not steer me wrong! This is true old-school Italian restaurant and the food was fabulous in a quiet and inviting, charming environment! Unfortunately they were out of Clam dish I wanted but I ordered the Rainbow Trout and it was amazing--it was cooked perfectly and was a really nice portion (I asked for just a regular olive oil sauce on the fish and they were happy to oblige). We got some nice bread on the table with a a nice dish of olive oil to dip the bread with some spices. I also got a glass of wine with the dish which was delicious. Now this price is so reasonable I was shocked--the glass of wine was only $6 and my fish was $15. My friend got the Eggplant Parm and said it was the best he has ever had. The staff was friendly and inviting and we left with a bill that was only $40 for two of us which was so nice being that restaurants have gotten so expensive these days! Thank you Oaks Inn for a wonderful meal-I will definitely be back! Make sure to make a reservation if you can because it does get full and you must call after 4P as they do not answer the phone before that time.
